Sercomm Announces 3Q'12 Financial Results
Taipei, Taiwan, 30th October 2012- Sercomm Corporation (TSE: 5388), a leading manufacturer of broadband and wireless networking equipments, today announced financial results for the third quarter of year 2012.
On consolidated basis, net sales from January to September of year 2012 were reported as NT$15 billion, which represents a 60.4% increase over NT$9.35 billion for the first three quarters of 2011. Income before tax for the first three quarters of 2012 were NT$772 million, which represents a 48.7% year-over-year increase over NT$519 million for the same period last year. Net income from January to September of year 2012 were NT$635 million, which also represents a 46.7% increase compared to NT$433 million for the same period last year. Based on 192 million weighted average shares outstanding, earnings per share (EPS) for the first three quarters of year 2012 were reported as NT$3.30.
Consolidated net sales for the third quarter of year 2012 were NT$5.54 billion, which represents a 61.5% increase compared to NT$3.43 billion for 3Q’11. Income before tax for 3Q’12 were NT$291 million, which represents a 80.7% year-over-year increase over NT$161 million for the third quarter of year 2011. Net income for 3Q’12 were NT$242 million, which also represents a 75.4% increase compared to NT$138 million for the same period last year. Based on 192 million weighted average shares outstanding, EPS were reported as NT$1.26 for the 3rd quarter of year 2012.
